There were a couple projects I wanted to work on today, but I just sort of rolled around avoiding everything I actually needed to take care of. Namely, obtaining an Ohio driver’s license, which I recently learned you’re required to do within thirty days of becoming a resident of the state. I moved here almost two and a half years ago. But my Michigan license expires in a few weeks, so I can’t put it off too much longer.
Anyway, I did at least get to the gym today. And for dinner I actually reheated something I’d made and frozen a couple weeks ago. Usually I let leftovers sit there until I move apartments, then throw them out. Finally, I went grocery shopping at Target…but unfortunately ended up with a lot of non-food items. Here are my favorites, if you’re inspired to pick up a little something for yourself this weekend.
Essie nail polishes in A Cut Above (left) and Buy Me a Cameo. The pretty champagne shade looks nice alone or with a coat of the glitter polish on top, and it’s a nice change from my usual burgundy or dark purple for fall.
Classic Herbal Essences Shine Conditioner. Didn’t you love this stuff in high school? I didn’t buy a shampoo along with it because I’ve accidentally purchased two shampoos each of the last TWO TIMES I’ve gone shopping. So I have enough.
A balsam candle — the pine-y scent is perfect for the holidays (similar product from a brand I like here)
And a supersoft faux fur throw to wrap up in while paging through an issue of Women’s Health.
Have a nice evening 🙂
