I picked up these two items at Target last week along with $50 of other stuff I don’t need and was not disappointed.
Wet Skin Lotion
Jergens’ new wet skin moisturizer is made to be applied right after you get out of the shower but before drying off. It goes on easily, like body wash, and absorbs more quickly than normal lotion (I can put jeans on after using this) with the same efficacy. Just pat your skin dry afterward.
Although micellar water has actually been around for quite some time (this article explains its history and the science behind how it works), the product has become a skincare trend more recently. Drip a few drops onto a cotton pad, gently pass the pad over your skin, and Simple micellar water will ‘cleanse, remove makeup, and hydrate,’ just as it promises on the bottle. It’s refreshing and less irritating than using wipes because you don’t have to rub or press hard on your skin. I’ve been using this before bed when I just can’t be bothered to wash my face, as a “double cleanse” in addition to my regular face wash to make sure my skin gets clean, and to quickly and easily remove my makeup before working out.
