Friday Favorites #2

How are you guys?  I hope your short week was peaceful and productive.  🙂  I’m working in the morning today and driving to Ann Arbor this afternoon to spend the weekend with college friends.  We’re running a 10k on Sunday, which I expect to go well since I haven’t run six miles at once since this weekend a year ago.  But first, a quick list of Friday Favorites since the long weekend gave me a chance to write an extra post this week.

Adam’s Cat As Always

Adam sent me this Snapchat of Jojo the other night after she’d jumped up on the table where he was studying for the hundredth time in a row, and I think I’ve spent several minutes looking at it every day since.  The caption along with her solemn expression just makes me want to burst into tears.  #CatPerson.

Angie’s Boom Chicka Pop Sea Salt Popcorn

boom chicka pop

At the risk of my mother driving from Michigan to stab me for buying a $4 bag of popcorn with a dumb name that probably cost 4 cents to produce, this stuff is the best.  A list of high-volume, low-calorie foods has been sitting in my Google Doc of potential blog posts for a while because I think it would be very valuable to a large number of people, but I haven’t found enough good ones.  This would make that post, though – it tastes as good as movie theater popcorn without the greasy mess or unhealthy fats.

Americana Clothing

memorial day shorts

Perfect for Memorial Day, the 4th of July, pretending you’re still in college, drinking by yourself in your apartment, etc., etc.  Shop the stars and stripes shorts above here (I also like this pair).

Foldable Yoga Mat

foldable yoga mat

While I wouldn’t devote carryon space to a yoga mat (I received this in my May PopSugar Must Have box – wasn’t planning to buy it), this would be super easy to at least pack in the car for a road trip.  You could then do ab work in your own room instead of interacting with people in a sad hotel gym.  For the $25 price, the quality seems good – I may not take this mat to a difficult hot yoga class, but it’s sticky enough.

John Frieda Beach Blonde Sea Waves Sea Salt Spray

I’ve been testing a few products that help produce beachy waves for an upcoming blog post since I straighten my hair less often in the summer.  This works the best of the drugstore brands I’ve tried (it’s only $10), bringing out my natural wave without making my hair crunchy.

Have a great weekend!  I’m linking up with Heather, Katie and Andrea today.
